The Executive Assistant / Team Leader, Administration Services is responsible for providing direct administration support to the President & CEO as well as senior administrative support to the executives of NT Hydro and its subsidiaries.
Position located in Fort Simpson, NT - Reporting to the Maintenance Services Manager, the Electrician will perform journeyperson level work, and is responsible for the repair and maintenance of electrical generation and control equipment, along with auxiliary equipment such as electric motors, transformers, relays, electronic governors, voltage regulators, and other electrical systems in diesel and hydro generating stations, and all other related duties.
NORMAN WELLS, NT - Under the general supervision and direction of the Manager, Generation Support the incumbent is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the electrical generating units, plants and their respective auxiliary equipment at the Diesel sites.
The successful candidate will participate as a member of the Hydro Mechanical Services Team and perform advanced Journeyperson level mechanical work and system diagnostics in support of diesel generation and hydro generation as well as associated balance of plant equipment including but not limited to compressors, heat exchangers, oil and fuel systems, tools, governors and mobile equipment.
The successful candidate shall always work safely, adhere to all aspects of the NTPC Health & Safety and Environmental programs, comply with all rules & regulations, and continually practice health & safety while performing any duties.
This position is located in Inuvik, NT, and the successful candidate would have to live/relocate to Inuvik. This is NOT a rotational position or camp job.
This is Journeyperson level work in the repair and maintenance of electrical generation and control equipment, along with auxiliary equipment such as electric motors, transformers, relays, electronic governors, voltage regulators, and other NWTPC electrical systems in diesel, gas, wind and /or hydro generating stations. All work shall be carried out in accordance with the Canadian Electrical Code and Northwest Territories Power Corporation policies and standards. Previous experience related to installing and commissioning diesel gensets rated 75 kW and above is also required. This position has the responsibilities of a Crew Leader, in addition to the responsibilities of the Journeyperson Electrician.
The Fuel & Financial Analyst participates as a member of the Financial Reporting Group in determining objectives and priorities. The incumbent will act as a liaison between Financial Reporting and NTPCs operational groups with fuel related issues as well as the liaison between NTPC and fuel suppliers.
The Fuel & Financial Analyst maintains the fuel records of the corporation including the impact on expense, inventory, and the fuel stabilization funds. This position is responsible for analyzing production fuel and the related generation and revenue for each community NTPC serves. The Fuel & Financial Analyst is responsible for accurately entering monthly entries such as deferral account, re-occurring and accrual entries.
