Under the general supervision and direction of the Manager, Plant Operations Dehcho Sahtu (DS), the plant superintendent is responsible for the day to day operation and maintenance of the power generation and distribution facilities to ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable supply of electricity to the community.

Under the general supervision and direction of the Manager, Plant Operations Dehcho Sahtu (DS), the support plant superintendent is responsible for the day to day operations and maintenance of the power generation and distribution facilities to ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable supply of electricity to the community.

Under the direction of the Manager, Mechanical Services, Energy South Operations (ESO), the Mechanical Maintenance Planner will plan and coordinate various mechanical maintenance activities required to achieve optimum reliability through efficient use of human resources, time, equipment and material in the ESO Division utilizing NTPC’s Computerized Maintenance Management (CMMS) system. The primary responsibility is to eliminate waste from maintenance activities and premature equipment failures through planning and preliminary scheduling of service activities.

This position is located in Hay River, NT (on-site, NOT remote)   To provide electrical design, engineering, and project management services from the conceptual stage through to commissioning for capital projects and operational support involving the Corporation's generating stations and transmission and distribution systems. The incumbent will be required to perform the following tasks with minimal supervision:

This is a PART-TIME position located in Gameti, NT.  This is NOT a rotational/fly-in position and the successful candidate must live in Gameti, NT.   Under the general supervision and direction of the Manager, Plant Operations Diesel the incumbent is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the electrical generating units, plant and the respective auxiliary equipment at the Diesel site.

Participates as a member of the Financial Planning & Analysis Group and leads forecasting, variance analysis, the annual budget process and utility rate regulation applications of the Corporation. Reporting to the Director, Transmission and Distribution (TD), as an expert in the Corporation’s transmission and distribution assets, the TD Asset Manager is a primary driver in improving system reliability and developing cost effective maintenance solutions within the TD operating division.  An asset manager is active in identifying, inventorying, monitoring, and analysing each asset through its full life cycle.

Participates as a member of the Transmission Distribution Operations division and performs Journeyperson level work in the construction and maintenance of electrical transmission and distribution systems, including substations underground and streetlight systems.    This position is based out of Hay River, NT , however routine work area encompasses all communities in the South Slave and Taltson Hydro site. May be assigned to support any of NTPC’s service areas including the Beaufort Delta, Dehcho / Sahtu, North/South Slave, hydro sites...
