This is a PART-TIME position located in Gameti, NT.  This is NOT a rotational/fly-in position and the successful candidate must live in Gameti, NT.   Under the general supervision and direction of the Manager, Plant Operations Diesel the incumbent is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the electrical generating units, plant and the respective auxiliary equipment at the Diesel site.

Participates as a member of the Transmission Distribution Operations division and performs Journeyperson level work in the construction and maintenance of electrical transmission and distribution systems, including substations underground and streetlight systems.    This position is based out of Hay River, NT , however routine work area encompasses all communities in the South Slave and Taltson Hydro site. Participates as a member of the Operations Divisions supporting program objectives and priorities. The incumbent will act as a liaison between Finance and the three Operational Divisions (Energy North Operations, Energy South Operations and Transmission Distribution Operations), with the objective for compiling and preparation of operational material for monthly reporting, budgeting, and forecasting purposes as well as ad hoc reporting required to support the operations management teams.  The incumbent is also responsible for ensuring the complete, accurate, and timely financial reconciliation of Transmission Distribution Operations capital and operational customer driven projects.
