This position is located in Hay River, NT and requires the successful candidate to reside there -- it is NOT a rotational/fly-in position   The Crew Leader, PLT Participates as a member of the Transmission & Distribution Group and performs Journeyperson level work in the construction and maintenance of electrical transmission and distribution systems, including substations underground and streetlight systems.

This is a TERM position is located in Hay River, NT - Term to September 2027   Working in a team environment, the Distribution Technologist is responsible for the Electric Service Request Desk, Work Order Estimating System, Contract and Service Agreement Creation / Tracking, Large Job Materials Requisitions, Type 5, 6 and 7 Project Logistics, New Easements / ROW Documentation, Special Contract Monitoring, and provides Technical Support to Asset Manager of TDO and the TDO Managers.

Participates as a member of the Supply Chain Management team, performing supply chain logistics functions as well as maintenance support functions to the Head Office and support operational needs as required. This includes receiving and shipping stock from internal and external sources, providing stock management and inventory control support, running daily errands and assisting with maintenance at the Head Office warehouse and other corporation facilities.  This position will also be available to support other operational needs as required. To perform journeyperson level mechanical work on diesel generator sets and associated support equipment including, pumps, compressors, radiators, heat exchangers, lubricating oil systems, fuel oil systems, cooling systems, and other mechanical equipment. The incumbent will be responsible for the routine maintenance as set out by the manufacturer and the Corporations CMMS program, as well as the minor and major overhauls including work on larger diesel engines such as EMD, MTU Series 4000 and Cat 3500 series engines throughout the Corporation.
